East Las Vegas, while just 5 miles from The Strip, is a little bit of city and a little bit desert, mixed with retirement luxury.Closer to the highway bordering the area near the Whitney neighborhood, you can find apartments and condos for purchase or rental.
In the eastern corner of East Las Vegas, a new Del Webb 55 community, Solera at Stallion Mountain, offers plenty of amenities including swimming pools, tennis courts and a state-of-the-art recreation center.
The Silver Bowl Sports Complex and the 2,900-acre Desert Wetlands Park sit at the bottom of East Las Vegas. Lake Mead National Park is adjacent. Horesman's Park sits in the middle of the area, with equestrian events all year.
